All my german equipment is either busted or sold...sigh....in the market for a decent non-sunroof tub!!!!!!! Help me get back to autocrossing!!!
Thanks!:,
All of my friends have received their copy but I have not seen it yet. Maybe it will be in todays mail.
Finally got the June issue. I've got to say that Bob Chapman did a nice job with the article. He's a very professional guy. He's the only one that I've let drive the car in 25 plus years of autocrossing. Also, a super piece on Bob Williams RSR clone. Very nicely turned out. Bob is quite the craftsman.

watching Bob drive that car at auto-x is really something. 'precision' is the word that comes to mind.

Have you heard of Bob's latest project? Highly modified Lister with big Corvette power.
Finally got the "rag" today.
Great photo on track! Eyes WIDE OPEN and watching the line!!!
The article is well written and the timeline makes me feel old because I remember seeing Bobby drive this car at "Crewe, VA" waaaay back when (mid-80's)!
To say that the car and Bobby "become one" at the track is a fact.
Congratulations, Bobby. We're all proud of you!
My best,

Tom,
The car has really changed a lot since we ran at the Crewe Airport site. I can still remember the long straight after the turnaround at the end of the runway. It was at least 1/2 mile long and I was in fifth gear for the longest time. The wind hitting my helmet shook my head so much that I could hardly see. Of course there was the time when a 924 driver went off the runway at speed and ended up stuck in the tree limbs. As you may remember the runway was built very high and if you went off, you were at tree level.
Those were the days. Probably not the safest event though.
