This Bonhams car lists it as being a "deluxe" and the first deluxe delivered to the UK. It makes note of a Feb. 66 build date and Dec. 66 delivery. I have a similar '66 with a March '66 build date and a Dec. 30 '66 delivery date which seems kind of odd too.

From earlier in this long thread ALL 911 from 304733 through 304955, inclusive, were deLuxes as seen on each Kardex as reported by Steve Heinrichs (RIP) Thanks.

That's true too, not a "recognized" deLuxe. Could be an outlier, possibly as RHD but I looked through the pix on the auction site and there is NO Kardex shown. Show me "the money," show me the Kardex. Thanks.

I am curious as to what evidence they may have leading them to market this as a deluxe. I think this is a reasonably obscure series that, outside this thread, would have very little public awareness.

since deLuxes came about because the 1967 models were out and the old standard 1966 models became difficult to sell, that this much earlier car was rebranded a deLuxe is conceivable (since it sold long after it was made). The Kardex, and only the Kardex, will tell us. It does NOT fit in the known deLuxe chassis range.

New to this thread? Please check your 1966 dealer communication files, Rundschreiben, for #13 for 1966. We are looking for factory communication re. deLuxes. Thanks.

In response to my email to the auction house : Dear Allen,

    Many thanks for your email.

The car was offered at our July Goodwood Sale, it didn’t sell.

There was no mention of a Kardex, sorry.

    Best,

Just got a pricelist from Sept 1968, UK market, Model Year 1969.

There is a model called 911T Lux Coupe.
    I guess a 911T with Comfort/Appearance/S-package group equipment.
