    motor is currently being re-done, based on an alu case, gt-3 oil pump, etc, all "the stuff"...oughta run pretty good...

    Question

    I noticed that some of you have the hose that runs from the airfilter cover to the regulator housing attached (Clyde) while others don't (Chuck, Peter, Phil, Rick).

    What are the advantages/disadvantages of running with/without this hose?

    As I understand it, it's not really needed in warm climes, and makes it easier to work on the engine with it out.
