Doors latch / stricker restoration ?

I would like to restore my doors strickers ; originally they came with silver zinc coating and all the ones available are now yellow zinc. Does someone tried to separate them to have them replated ?

What type of rivets did you use to assemble them together after ?

    Any suggestions ? Thanks

I'll bet our favourite caliper guru at PMB Performance could do them. I had the units from my 914 done many years ago, but I did not take them apart.

You don't need to seperate them if you want to use zinc. Your plater will be able to remove and replate.
