Looking good Tim. The primer colour had me worried for a second there. Thought you'd gone for Gulf Orange!

Hi Tim, that's a nice car you have, I guess by now you have completed the restoration, may I ask what was the cars Kenyan registration?

If I'm correct, this is KGT 345.

The picture of the car in a rally #325-- The wheels in back look like 6". as the outside rim is sticking out farther that the spokes. 5.5" is the opposite Chris

Chris - the photo in post #325 is actually circuit racing (yet to find any rally events in the car's history) and the wheel sizes were covered in post #320.....basically came with 'unfinished 5.5" all round from new whilst Peter also used a pair of standard finish deep 6" on the rear for some events. According to the Sports Purpose document 5.5" on the front with 6" on the rear was not a homologated combination, however, I don't think that would have stopped Peter!

Canford Classics have done a fantastic job refurbishing the original unfinished wheels; they had been painted more than once whilst the car was in Uganda so they had to be stripped, re-finished to match the 'unfinished' original condition and then anodised (fortunately we had access to an original 'unfinished' spare wheel that had not seen the road for reference):
