    WEVO shifter feedback requested.

    Hello all.

I've convinced myself it's time to do the WEVO shifter upgrade in my car and was wondering if most people prefer the 'classic' shift lever look or the WEVO look. Below are both pictured, and I was hoping to see some pictures installed in members' cars.

So if you please, give me some input and post some pictures.

    Thanks in advance,
    -Mike

    wevo

Whichever one you pick will be based on the look you want. I can tell you that I love this shifter. No more missed shifts or reverse scares.
    Enjoy

    Thumbs up

I installed the Wevo Classic in my 911 two years ago, and believe it's the absolute best upgrade I've done with the car!
    Cheers!

I like the classic look myself. I have a factory sport shift and don't have any problems shifting but I hear the wevo is a step up. are you installing the gate kit in the box also?

Where you live might have a bearing on which lever you choose. I know I wouldn't want to grab that aluminum lever after sitting out in the sun all day down here right now

Wevo makes an adapter/sleeve so you can fit a Momo knob to their standard shifter.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone feel that the the WEVO-style (not the classic) is a little too racer-ish? I haven't seen one in a car that wasn't a gutted out lightweight race car and although I think it could be a cool visual touch that the car means business, I don't want it to look out of place.

I guess I'm just asking for gut opinions (and pictures) of whether the WEVO is 'cool' or 'cheesy' for a street car not built to an RS or ST look.

Thanks for the input so far...

    -Mike
