    A way around rule book early days.

    A bit of triva. Before 'affordable' twin plug distributors a way around the no crank fire rule for Electromotive HPV-1.

    Don Devendorf was one smart cookie........

    Bit of trivia 2 -

    In '74 Devnendorf (a year later he started Electromotive) debuted a Sun and Moon DATSUN dealership sponsored/ Datsun backed/ Devendorf prepped and driven B-210 in C-Sedan at Riverside Raceway for a SCCA National. Those who know the car in stock form know what it would take to make it a fast race car. His second lap (lap after his 'outs lap') he blew the C-Sedan lap record to hell !!!!!!!!! .....
    He would go on to win the National title for the next 5 years......
