    front bumper

    Hello all
I am told that the front bumper off my 1973.5
is not fitting properly goes on but does not meet up with the
fenders it was suggested that said bumper may be from a " narrow body car " short wheel base???
i thought they were all the same in the front ????
    Anyone??????
    Thanks in advance

from what i can tell the big difference is all in how it mounts to the body, and how it looks from behind.. too bad i dont have pics, as you can see the difference easily.

if it ends up that you do have a swb front bumper, let me know, i might be interested in buying it from you depending on condition and price.

A SWB bumper mounts are completly different then the 69> The SWB basically mounts with two large "L" style brakets. The later version has smaller brakets.
The top diagram is a LWB the bottom is a SWB
