    It's a factory rally kit/sport kit I/II car. That said some proportion
    of the parts were delivered loose with the car when sold and fitted
    by the dealer or the owner so perhaps they were a little off.

    oil reservoir brackets

    In my car with factory Sportkit II the brackets for the oil bottle are on the same position like on Andys car. I think the drawing of the spots purpose brochure was the official version, but the practical version was the fixation of both brackets to the engine front wall, which is much easier. I will post a picture later.

    I think you are right.

    It's quite impossible (or very difficult) to mount the tank holder in the correct position with the engine mounted in the car.

    oil breather tank fixation

    Hello Andy and Andrea,

    Here is a picture of the impressions of the oil breather tank holder of my cars engine front wall when I found it. You also see the impression of the right lower part of the bottle.
