    Mike...

I advised the owner, a friend of mine, that I could find only two flaws with the car:

    (1) As you say, wipers should be silver and parked on the passenger side.

    (2) Hood and engine lid latches and bolts should be black as opposed to the body color that they were painted.

The car was restored by German Master Tech here in Bend, the same shop that I use (and used to own). I noticed those two things too late to change them prior to the show, but they will be changed ASAP as this car will be shown at the highest levels. Really a magnificent car - I don't think this list could even pick it apart.

I had my car there as display only (not judged) as I'm in the midst of preparing it for the Carmel Concours. I added about 30 more things to my list yesterday but I'm comfortable that we can get them done in time. It's challenging to bring a working car up to concours condition.

    Cheers,
    JohnA

Like I said John, looks a beautiful car and I wasn't being picky, just that it is nice to be 100% correct. Looks like a credit to the shop and would be nice to see more pics.

Interesting to know you owned the shop. I have followed many of your threads on your beautiful Bahama SWB so now I know how you are a lifelong addict like me.

All the best on your mini resto.

    John

What about some yellow lenses for those spots? Would complement the color of the car beautifully.

    Not to go on,but.........a question,

As there is another current thread on the rear screen demisting foam tubes on the 67S coupe, were these present on the soft window 67S or deleted or blanked off?

No offense taken whatsoever. I appreciate being critiqued.

I started the shop after I sold my real business back in 2000 - one of the first Internet marketing firms. I was deep into 356's at the time and set it up as a 356 restoration shop. It was a hobby business and it validated the old adage that it's easy to make a million dollars in a hobby business - start with two million. A man's gotta know his limits, so I turned it over to Tim Morris, a professional and current owner, and he runs a thriving shop: high end restorations (primarily early 911's), performance upgrades and service work.

Now I'm back running another Internet marketing campany - AudetteMedia - which is my native business habitat. Just added Michelin as a client last week...

    Cheers,
