    2.7 ignition HELP!

    Recently, my ignition box on my 2.7 911's engine wore out and needs to be replaced. I have settled on two options, a Mallory 6852m digital ignition and a MSD 6a ignition, but i have no idea on which one is better. Please help me out all advice is appreciated.

    My first choice would be to rebuild the original Bosch unit
    second choice the MSD unit

    I too like the stock Bosch unit. If Im going an after-market ignition route, I've always used the MSD 6A as do many other 911 guys. Its a nice setup.

    I use the MSD 6A with my 2.7. I used it now for 4-5 years and two engines. both the CDI box and high vibration coil have been bullet proof.
