John,
I was one of your judges...I just got home from running at the Historics and read your post. You did have the points for first in class!!!
I'm glad to see it worked out for you.

Geez, I hope I didn't come across as negative. I'm new at this concours thing and I was sincerely looking for answers. I put a lot of thought and work into the preparation of my car and I was sincerely puzzled why it hadn't appeared to score at least the 85 points required for 3rd Place in Class. The only thing I could come up with is that I must of received deductions for many of the bits that I had put into place after a lot of research and parts hunting. I figured that the SCCA guidelines that were used stressed showroom original and didn't allow for a Sports Purpose build like Stubby. Glad I was wrong.
Cheers,
JohnA

That's funny!!!
Congrats John, the car looked really nice. I missed getting home for the event by a couple of days which upset me a bit. I did get to go down for dinner on that following Sunday Eve. and meet a few Midwestern Hooligans.
