    I was one of your judges...I just got home from running at the Historics and read your post. You did have the points for first in class!!!

    Geez, I hope I didn't come across as negative. I'm new at this concours thing and I was sincerely looking for answers. I put a lot of thought and work into the preparation of my car and I was sincerely puzzled why it hadn't appeared to score at least the 85 points required for 3rd Place in Class. The only thing I could come up with is that I must of received deductions for many of the bits that I had put into place after a lot of research and parts hunting. I figured that the SCCA guidelines that were used stressed showroom original and didn't allow for a Sports Purpose build like Stubby. Glad I was wrong.

    Congrats John, the car looked really nice. I missed getting home for the event by a couple of days which upset me a bit. I did get to go down for dinner on that following Sunday Eve. and meet a few Midwestern Hooligans.
