Rafael Cid Navarro, the last "official" owner of #009, that have been totaled (accident + burn) wrote on his facebook page

..that he never sold it, so, the people that claim to have #009 for sale (3 millions Euros), will receive an (interesting) message from him !
Or, ..for those interested at #009 : be careful !

Thanks, ..but frankly, it is not "my" work at all. It is a team work and this, thanks to all of you, mostly here on Early911Registry and at Autodiva.
It make sense, as a lot of "R" were originally in France, and today, many of these are in the USA !

Resurrecting this great thread with a question. I found a photo of R03 supposedly taken at the Grand National Tour de France in 1970. I really like the picture but wonder if anyone has a copy of it that is in better condition. This one looks like it has been edited or badly copied. I feel like I have seen a better version of this same shot somewhere but, search as I may, I can't seem to find it. I found this photo at http://www.pbase.com/archive_racing_...mage/140249716.

Yes, 002R is in super great hands. It is a pleasure to know when very important cars (these 911R are for my eyes the top of all 911 !) are in the hands of such great collector.
