    Thanks Gordon^, This piece of an old Car and Driver from '68 fell out of an old Porsche book i bought recently. Thought it belonged here..

    Can anyone help me with determining the exact placement for the oil fill cap ? [where the hole opening is located in quarter]

    This weekend I had a chance to get up close with 911R 005. The revs Institute brought it to Targa Sixty Six gathering at Palm Beach International Raceway. I mangaed to get several photos of the car and details. Here are a few photos.

    There is a thread that had some very precise measurements. It may have been about the tank also.

    Isn't this the standard setup for all SWBs in 1968 - Thus the 911R was quiet comfortable?
    Could you provide me also the setup for a standard 911ST and 911RS please?
