    Sportomatic Targa Pedal Board

Anyone got any pictures of their original Sportomatic Targa drivers side pedal board? '68 911 SWT Sportomatic to be specific. The one I have had an elephant hyde material glued to the dead pedal and I am wondering if it was original? There are a couple of old looking nails that seem to indicate they were holding some type of material on originally, but the current covering. I think this car has rubber floor mats also.
    Thanks.

I'd be pleased to know this is the original rubber cover, but I doubt it. Any thoughts?

That doesn't look right to me, but the SWB stuff might be different. The sporto boards I know of should have a closely ribbed rubber mat covering the dead pedal with the ribs going virtically.

    Sporto rubber

I agree with Mr.9146. My 1972 T Sporto had rubber with ribbing going vertical. There was a perfect one at Hershey but I did not notice who had it?

Bumping an old thread: I'd be crazy to think anyone's making repros of these, wouldn't I? I'd like to have a drilled aluminum one for my LWB coupe (like the Rennline product) but I expect that'll be a DIY project.
