Thanks Denson; of course I wish it could have been just a bit larger, but I'm nevertheless very excited!.

This is the facade painted and finished.

Milou, a fantastic garage you have built your selves. We need to see the final picture with the cars and parts inside!

    Thanks Raj and Andrea,

It was (is) lots of fun putting it together.

I'm still planning for some shelves and some period signs etc.

I hesitated between a workshop with tools and a pit and a sort of "period" showroom, and thought the latter was more the place I was looking for to hang out.

    Thomas!

Beautiful, great woodwork on the ceiling joists, rarely something you see here as the costs would be exhorbitant (to me at least).

Where are you going to do parts storage? Up in the mezzanine? You may want to consider a small electric "parts lift". As carrying boxes of parts up those stairs looks a little daunting.

All in all a beautiful garage, almost too nice! You needy to dirty the floors with some oil etc. You'll also need more "crap" to put on the walls... way to few posters!

BTW, I cleaned out a former Porsche salesman of brochures at a swapmeet yesterday. I'll send an email to you and Raj.

Nice garage. It's interesting to see construction techniques and architectual details that are totally different from what I'm used to. I just built a garage and it has virtually nothing in common with yours other than being a cool place to store Porsches.

I wish you many happy hours in your new garage!

Thomas, le garage est fabuleux. You could almost imagine seppi dropping by, back in the day ... timeless it is ... those doors really set it off nicely.
I hope you have enough light in there ... you can always drill holes to make it lite-weight and allow light through
