Nicely done Frank. An RS never looked better. Great to see the car back in its original color.

Frank,
I've seen your RS while working on my '72 "RSR" project at Gunnar. It is a spectacular color and it's even nicer in-person than it looks in the photos. I didn't think that it was going to be done to that level but, based on my experience with Kevin on the last three cars that he has done, I'm not sure he can bring himself to any thing short of perfect.
We'll have to gather up the Northeast RS guys and have a day together.

Looking good, Frank. You gotta get some stone chips in that spoiler so we know it is being driven!

I suppose that 2323 is what is shown on the COA. However that is the 70 & 71 code style. On the 73 you should have 018-y-z where y is most likely 8. Perhaps you could ask Kevin what facility 8 represents; we know 9 is the Porsche main facility, but 8 still seems to be an enigma. The last digit is the paint manufacturer; can you find that out also please.

Thanks Frank. The paint code info on the COA is often NOT what is stamped on the paint badge. The database that PCNA works from to create the COA has slightly different data than what was stamped on the badge. They are equivalent if you know the cross-over data, so what the COA says is not wrong per se, just that the badge may say something different. I would wish that PCNA would convert their data to the proper code used on the badge when the COA is issued; that way the owner could look at the COA and the badge and say 'yes, that matches'.
