    Here's my new acquired 2/70 production Tangerine S #9110300908 with decal.

    The paint appears original around the door jambs. Would you agree? Is the paint run above the decal normal?

    The top hinge pin looks like it is ready to fall out,
    Current fleet, mostly rubbish automobiles and other assorted junk.

    While that paint run may have been factory, I wonder why the top edge of the decal looks like a little paint ran over the right side. I assume that the decal was applied after the paint, hence any evidence of paint on top of the decal would indicate some respray. This can only be determined by personal visual inspection. The edge of the decal needs to be proud of the paint. Thanks for the great shot. Do you have the compliance decal with the stamped out VIN & date code? Would love to have that also.

    I think the black you see is the adhesive oozing out. I'll take more detailed photos with my DSLR and share with you along with the compliance plate.

    Thanks. It is just too hard determining that detail from a photo.
