FS: Complete 911S MFI (everything: pump, lines, fuel pump, console, etc.)

    SOLD

For sale is a complete 911S MFI system in generally fantastic condition. This "kit" includes:

MFI pump (used, previously PFI rebuilt) - upgraded to 013 spec (2.4S)
1969 911S throtte bodies and stacks (these will work on any motor)
MFI fuel pump (unknown condition; seems OK)
    MFI fuel console + filter
    MFI cam wheel
    MFI pump mounting plate
    Oil cover with thermo-time switch
    MFI hard fuel lines
7 MFI injectors of unknown condition

This is basicallly turnkey, except for some minor, readily availale missing bits like the MFI belt, a few minor MFI linkages and if some of the injectors are bad, MFI injectors.

The gold anodizing on the TBs is dynamite - this isn't some knackered out, weathered set. Throttle shafts feel within acceptable specs. These will look as good as they work.

Asking $2750 - source it all yourself and you will be around $3500 + the hassle.

    Wish I had a '69S...what a deal!

+1 on the hassle factor of sourcing all of this stuff individually!!

To be clear, the pump is not a '69S pump, but a converted 2.4S pump. The correct pump for a '69S is either a 001 or a 005. I have a good 001, but it isn't for sale, as it is on my stock '69S motor.

    injection "kit"

Kenik, very attractive "kit" ,if you don't mind clarifying..
is it reset to 2.0 S spec or is it still with 2.4S space cam?
    Interested,thanks Bert

It has 2.4S space cam, BUT you will find that in practice the 2.0S, 2.2S, 2.4S and (to a more limited extent due to displacement mitigating the top end of the 'S' camshaft) 2.7RS space cams execute pretty much identical 3D maps. They merely shape the fuel curve.

The actual adjustments to the fueling are done with the adjustment screws inside the pump. Any mechanic with MFI experience and an AFR reader can tune any 'S' pump to any displacement. The space cam is more important to match to the powerband of the camshafts, so the pump can shape the fuel curve to the power delivery. The actual fuel output (and even to some extent - think fine tuning - the fuel curve) is adjusted using the mixture screws.

This pump will work just fine for any 'S' motor.

the throttle bodies are still available from Porsche Classic.

If anybody is interested I will find out prices, apparently they are not unreasonably priced.
