    Talking Porsche magazines - overseas cost

    i know there is a few people on the forum who may be involved with the US Porsche mag's ( excellence etc... ) could some one tell me why we are paying so much for the privilege of reading your mags in new zealand??

    example - excellence In the US on the shelf $4.99US in new zealand $23.95NZ( $18.24US )!!!

    Buy a subscription. I just got mine for $45USD for 8 issues.
    That's the International pricing.

    Cut out the middle man who is clearly screwing you. Yes, this
    happens in Australia too, Excellence on the newstand is $20AUD here
    airmailed and I think $13 if you're prepared to wait for a slow boat to
    bring it.

    I pay between $10 and $13 AU at the stand here in Brisbane, but they are normally 3 months behind...

    FWIW I've been finding the "Total 911" mag a better read for the money especially with the odd Antipodean article.

    how about 300 dls for an air subscription of Autosport. Now I just subscribe to their online edition. Of course i like to save my issues of excellence so that would not be an option. Shipping is very expensive.

    Same reason we Americans pay so much for European magazines: transportation costs. Magazines are heavy.
