    Tom,

Car #304523 came with engine #907766, build #4631 so your motor probably came from an earlier serial number chassis.

    Thanks. The earlier the better?

I'm looking for 1969 911S engine number 6390171. The car was sold new and lived in northern California almost all of it's life.

Found car number 303702 with matching engine 903763 in a pretty good shape some time ago. The car was located in my small (60.000) hometown called Vasa in Finland. Had been stowed away since 1991 when it was imported to Finland from Ca.The car came with all papers since new and even the old California licenseplates(SWF-692) form 1966.I´m now collecting parts for this project since a lot has been thrown away!! during the years here in Finland. The car was originally bought by a Mr.Walter Weber from Visalia,Ca on the 21st of April 1966.Has since had many owners but all in south California.Would be nice to know more about this cars history over there. It was ordered with quite unusual options like one Recaro Sport seat for the passengerside and a Recaro Bucketseat with fourpoint Britax harness for the driver. These were still with the car when i bought it,but things like roofrack and bra were missing, which were also on the original list of options. The Becker Mexico with automatic antenna are still there.
Anyone who knows more about this car, please write me a line on nikke911@mail.com. Thank You!Name: 002.jpg
