    '73 911T Targa Chassis Manufacturer

    Who made the body for the '73 911T's? My '62 356B Cabriolet was made by Reutter...

    It's always better to include your VIN for this type of info ...

    However, I get no reference of Karmann after 1970, I believe they were absorbed by Porsche AG by that time.
    I don't believe Karmann built Targas. It would figure that your '73 Targa would be a factory Porsche AG build...

    Indeed, Karmann built no production Targa's; either 911 or 912. Reutter built car bodies for Porsche until 1964 when Porsche completed the purchase of the body building portion of Reutter; the remainder of Reutter became Recaro. Karmann continued to build the 914 after the contract to build 911 cars ended in Dec 1970.
