I have located a complete, running 1968 S engine, 408033x mated to a transmission in Europe. It is complete top to bottom, air cleaner to muffler, runs and sounds well, but history unknown.

I would like to reunite it with its original chassis, a 1968 911S most likely within VIN range 11800270 - 11800280.

PM me if you have a car in the above VIN range and are looking for your engine. You get first dibs, everyone else is next in line.

UPDATE : I am happy to report that, thanks to this board, the engine has found a new home in a 68 S!

    Thank you,
