stumbled upon 73RS block 6631456 (originally in VIN 911 360 1490)

it is very interesting as the FIA forms for the switch from mag to silumin show that non-homologation chassis (M472) with homologation engine 6331455 although the RS book shows it having 6631456 - the case that is mentioned. this has been a mystery to me for years
is there a chance to get some photo of the case - type number, date stamps etc

I have always wondered which engine came with #1490 the RS numbered one or the S numbered one. it looks like we may never know now if the RS numbered engine has shown up on its own

Thanks for posting the document.
Having revisited that thread from 2005 I realise two things,
My engine is aluminium (Silumin) but begins 663......
My engine cases do not look anything like the on posted as 'a known aluminium 73 RS case'
So my interpretation of everything discovered is still unclear.
