Still looking for engine #6123044 from my 1972 T coupe

VIN 911 211 0289, Engine No. 612 0156. After some house keeping and organizing old Porsche stuff I found a couple of documents from the 1972 Targa that I had in the 70's. I bought the car from a member of the Air Force who brought it to Southern California. Here is a picture of the original German invoice for someone who has the car now, if it is still alive. I could send the documents:

This transmission was originally installed in my 1968 911 Karmann Coupe with VIN 11835224 and engine 3280841. This burgundy red 911 was delivered in March 1968 through PoAC Teaneck, N.J. to Mr. Marco Reuben in New York. Does anyone have additional information about this car or this owner?

The car with this VIN is showing up on Craigslist in multiple locations. Looks a bit like a scam. Hopper, are you out there? Can you add anything about the current location of the car?
