    Appraisers & Appraisals

    My insurance company is requiring an appraisal of my wife's 67 911S softie before they will insure it for an agreed value. It has just undergone a complete restoration (the yellow car in previous threads that won best in class at Forest Grove Concours last month).

    Anybody out there with names or recommendations for people who can give an accurate appraisal of these cars? Or thoughts on how to proceed? Cautions? Other words of wisdom?

    We live in Oregon near Salem, so someone at least on the west coast would be helpful.

    I saw your wife's car at Forest Grove. Very nice! Good to get it insured. I think that Jeff Smith is your guy. He is in Portland. I don't have contact info for him, but others on the board do, and I'm sure will chime in.
