What a bunch of you-know-what. Sorry that you got burned.

    Another give away:

"I will have to go over to paypal office here in England to know everything and how it works."

PayPal is all online. I wonder how this dirtbag would've replied to a suggestion to follow the step-by-step instructions at www.paypal.com?

    Here it is for worldwide:

    Sorry to hear this.

I would suspect that anyone who uses the word "Cuz" instead of "because" would not be the Early Porsche demographic...

Another indication that they aren't British is the form of address in the email "Hello Hopkinson", using your second name as your first.

Sorry to hear you got ripped off, an expensive lesson

50K worth of parts with no problems whatsoever is almost impossible. I don't know about dealing on the ESR exclusively. Maybe that's what I should do. I can say this: almost half of the purchases I did on Pelican were a sorry disappointment. I sold a lot as well, but I think I have 100% satisfaction there as a seller.

Sorry about the 300, but you seem to be taking it philosophically. I know I would if that's all that ever happened to me. I'll say this at the end: I'd rather not buy parts at all than buy them on the Internet these days. I might use EASY and the others that come up recommended regularly, but most private parties suck.

I said most, I know there are some good guys here.

BTW, the very first guy to rip me off was a fellow R Gruppe member. It was a long time ago and before I joined, so I’m not going to say any more about that deal. But, I keep the item on my desk to remind me about people. It’s been there for almost 7 years.

Eade, I paid $75 for something that is worth $5 new. At least the joker sent me something.
