Early 65 911 Find Slate Grey. They are still out there.

Eric linden encouraged me to share this new purchase. All numbers matching This early 911. Vin 301249 was taken apart many many years ago and put into storage. Just got it back to the shop. About 98% complete. And extremely original. Notice leather shift boot and leather hand brake boot. Notice Sombrero Gas tank and early Luggage hooks in the front trunk. I hope these pics help others who are restoring there early 65 911’s. Lots of original details in the pics. Especially in the front trunk area. It will need the normal rust remediation. Floors... front pan. Etc. and will get a repaint back to original Slate Grey.
Rare early options. 356 style Head rests. Mirror on passenger door. Tinted windows. I will restore the car. Hope you enjoy

    Great find Tate
I am certain you will recreate a great car with it in that shape to start with.

    Great find.
The website software automatically arranges photos in landscape format, so portrait format gets changed.

Thanks. Body is very straight and I can not find any evidence of accidents. Original front slam panel. Floors were replaced and not to a high standard. Will be cut out and done properly. #249 is stamped on the doors and deck lid and front fenders. Original Slate Grey paint can be seen in many areas. 5 date matched Lemmerz wheels. Original dash and original wood.
