    Jochen Rindt Letter

    This was recently posted on On The Dash. The letter is obviously referencing the failure of the suspension-mounted rear wing on Rindt's Lotus at Montjuich in '69.

    Hmm, that's interesting. We all admire Chapman for trying to make his cars as light as possible, but a letter like this from Rindt kind of reaffirms the question - at what cost to his drivers.

    Apparently Colin was light in the wallet as well, if the address is any indication. Howard Johnson Motor Lodge?
