Thanks Tom and everyone for the assistance. The babies are not easy to locate through conventional sources. I am surprised that Stoddard or Sierra Madre Collection has not caught on, bought a batch and sold them as a kit.

Chrome is not a must as I can polish these to look just like chrome.

    All the best,

Polish and clear coat. Be careful screwing them in.
FWIW; this is the most cost effective way. Chroming them is what gets the price out of bounds.

If they have them in V2A (stainless) (I didnt' look) you'll be in great shape because stainless polishes up nicely. It looks different than chrome but only to a discerning eye.

    Good luck!

You can get them in stainless from : www.fastenal.com

Easy to order online, sold individually. Take a minute and a buffing wheel to get them perfect !

I'll take this a step further for those who may not know who Fastenal are.

This one doesn't look exactly like the others shown in previous threads but may be a "stock photo"
(These are generally referred to a cross-recessed oval head machine screws.)

Here's the page with the M8 SS screw.

    Happy Hunting.

    Sport Seat Belt Hardware

Can someone post a picture and description of the sport seat seat belt anchoring hardware - the parts that bolt the belt tab anchor into the sport seat frame? I could not find them on the PET parts diagram. Part #'s and/or aftermarket size and source?

    Thanks for any help.

All the replacement screws mentioned above are the same size and just a little too large for the depression of the seat mechanism. Yes, they will work, but to my eye, you can tell they are bigger than they should be, especially when compared to the original screw. They are also a #4 Phillips head size vs. what may have been #2 or #3, however, this I can live with. In conversations with other members, we have found that there were two lengths used, the 20mm that most mention and 27mm that can out of my original 73 seats. I ordered both 20mm and 25mm new Stainless Steel screw sizes (8x1.25), though once installed you will never know any difference. Why there are two sizes I have no clue. I then sent the screws off to a friend who is a machinist and had him reduce the head size to closely match the original head size. I had him make extras in case there were other members who are as anal as me and wanted some. I can sell the screws for $12.75 each and will only sell them in sets of 8. If interested PM me. If I sell out and others want some I can have more made, though they may be sightly more expensive due to shop minimums etc.

Not sure why pic is sideways if mods can fix it that would be helpful.

Mark, I did that with my lathe about 30 years ago. That is the best solution.

Thank you Chuck for fixing the pic. I am going to make a separate post in the parts section.
