Got my copy, looked it over and was going to say great job, as I thought this was the place to congratulate the folks who make this such a wonderful pub.
Sorry to interrupt the business meeting, carry on.

John, I'm tending to agree with you, you're either pregnant or you're not, you're either a paid member or you're not a member. Is there really anyone who can't afford the paltry membership fee ?

Just got mine, looks great - thanks everyone!!
I also agree with full membership only or maybe do like TYP901 in Aus -can't post or see pics if not paid up. As an aside consider international member cost, we pay more for additional postage (fair enough) plus we cop the exchange rate which can hurt some of us. I think my last renewal cost around Aus $80. Still good value but combined with other magazines costing $10-$13.50 and expensive parts, it becomes a costly hobby. oh well - so be it I guess. I have a great car and live in a great part of the world
cheers

Just got mine here in Switzerland. Thank you to all to contributed and put it together! It's gotten really substantial and the content and layout are impressive.
I agree on membership being the way to get a copy, but having said that, I was very grateful to be able to get a couple of back issues recently when I needed reference material for my resto. They had been published before I got into early 911s and joined the Registry, and were of great help to me in finding my way.
I assume that's always an option at Chuck's (generous) discretion for future newbies like me.

I swear to God my main carrier is a secret Porsche fan and reads all my magazines before delivering them to me. Every time either the new excellence is out or the Esses, I seem to wait and wait and wait to get it! You guys are killing me! I was really hoping it was in the mailbox on Friday so I could nurse my sinus cold and read it over and over again!

Ok I said it...I can't stand the new Esses's and the September Issue is the worst yet ! ...all those great color shots of cars I can't own...wonderfully written articles once again about cars I can't own. I liked this magazine much better when the shots were grainy and black and white and you really couldn't get a sense of how nice the cars I can't own really are.
One more reason I hate the new Esses's. Now when I get the magazine with the wonderfully detailed picutures of all the cars I can't own..it causes me to launch into yet another project on my own car trying to patch it together so it is at least presentable. So now this magazine is costing me money...before I was happy with a package shelf that had a little warp or tear in it..now..I'm ripping it out and redoing it..all because of this horrible little magazine.
Please keep up the good work, my masocistic self can't wait for the next issue
Tongue firmly in cheek above..you guys are now producing a truly top shelf production...I read it cover to cover as soon as it arrives...even though it's filled with cars I can't own...<grin>....DM
great work with the new issue gentlemen
I particularly love:
- black RS with red graphics (page 31)
- that blue 550 (1/2 picture) on pg 30 (think there was an excellence article on this one, plus an earlier article on another French Blue one restored in AUstralia)
- the SInger vehicle design on pg 25 (never seen that before, but i like the front bumper design especially)
- and the immaculate 911R on pg 15 !!
Great reading
