3.2 in 73T correct sensors for oil temp and pressure

I have a 73 with a 3.2 conversion. I believe the oil status monitoring gauge is correct for the 73 and I think the sensors are still 87 carrera bits. So unless I'm idling in crazy hot weather the temp gauge never lifts off it's bottom rest and the oil pressure is 60 when idling and pegged at max when driving. My question is how to correct this so I can guess what my engine is doing instead of just hoping everything is fine?

I've been told that the sensors are different for the models and that I can just change the snesor to one that has the correct output range, I've also heard just to send it to Hollywood Speedo and let them fix it. Which is more cost effective? If I change the sensors what part numbers do I need?

    Thanks Mark

It will be easier to install the correct sensors.

I've got them if you need them.
