    Frank, I know some on this board have negative opinions of mega-buck restorations, but I want to say that the impact you have had on making special cars great again is a public service that the Porsche community benefits from greatly.

    One of the great advantages of this Forum, I believe, is that we share the different ways we express our passion for classic 911S.

    I think the passion is very much the same whether someone restores your car or you do the restoration yourself; whether it's a 912 or an RS; whether you live in Europe in Asia or in America.

    Sure our backgrounds are different, our philosophy to the brand can differ, our ressources vary, and we express our passion differently, but we each contribute to saving and preserving these wonderful cars that somehow impacted our lives.

    Question: Were black center Fuchs an option back then? I've seen body color Fuchs on several RS versions, so perhaps.

    Looks quite undriveable (it's perfect).
