    Feel good

    Frank,
Your thread makes me feel good! I am almost 5 years into RS # 193. It will be done by Xmas/ New Years. My friend and customer is like you, super mellow. Also, my #987 just got left off at Jim Newtons for final body work and paint. I can't wait to get it back for the assembly process. It also is 2323 Tangerine/Orange. Thanks for sharing Frank.

I have heard many adjectives used to describe Frank, but 'mellow' is not among them. If you are around Lime Rock tomorrow, Frank, there is a lunch at Interlachen Inn as part of a little vintage driving tour. If not, please leave the cover off so we can press our noses to the glass. If you see the prints on the window, you'll know we were there. Brilliant restoration. Congratulations.

    Job Well Done!

Frank: Not much else to add except my own thanks for sharing it with all of us on the board. The car is just amazing...the steering wheel bootie for example. Does it even smell new? You have been very generous in sharing your collection and your time with those of us who have dropped by. I hope to have the opportunity to see this car soon as well.

Frank, what a beautyful car, excellent workmanship and a striking color as well. I hope I have the chance to see it one day personally. I wish you many memorable times with it.

Yes, I stoppped and looked at the car. I saw it before it went to Gunner's for restoration. 1st class all the way. Unless you do it, it's hard for people to understand the work involved. Useable parts are getting so hard to come by. And each and every nut and bolt has to be brought back to original new condition. All proper complete restorations are six figure jobs.
