Thread: Seat ID Please

    Seat ID Please

I just bought a large lot of 914s, 914 parts and 911 parts. While going through all of the goodies (junk as my wife calls it!) I came across this seat bottom. At first I thought it was a 914 seat but now I'm thinking it might be from a 911 sport seat. I've never had a set of sport seats so I'm not sure what they look like under the upholstry. I tried comparing to some seat threads but it's hard to tell. Could someone help me ID what this seat is and how I can tell what model year it's from?

    Thanks!
    Jason

Jason...that is the bottom section of an early 914 passenger seat...it was on the 70-71 models and was bolted to the floor....the back part was build into the fire wall back rest...
