    Another "upgraded" 911 on the 'Bay, but with some goodies

    '68 S engines are not common, after all, but the rest of the parts are dubious.

    VIN 11835567 says it began as a 1968 normal Karmann coupe.
    Just because he says it has an S engine is no guarantee of it, especially since he claims the car is an 1973 Carrera. Brakes were not upgraded.

    Zoom in on the engine photo and it looks like the threaded bolts poking up through the shroud are for a MFI pump mount, no? Didn't have fuel injection in the '68 S. I wouldn't waist ANY time on this one, Bill.

    Geez - you'd think the least he would to is clean the lens on his camera. Of course he didn't bother to vacuum the car either... nice foilage - especially at the lower left corner of the rear window.

    Good catch, John. I'm not wasting any time on it, in any case. Anyone using such small photos from odd angles is attempting to conceal many things.
