    from Pelican

"Someone flew in town from europe to inspect and wouldnt go home without car. Cancelled flight a few times. It is what it is. Car will be with its sister."

A once in a lifetime find. I can only dream that it will happen again.

Don, sorry to hear you decided to sell the car, I think this was a keeper.

One last note on racing in Eritrea.
I recently found by chance an article on an italian classic car magazine from 1993 on the history on racing in eritrea during the post-war years. Very interesting, but as someone mentioned the possibility of the Abarth 2000 or 906 still lying somewhere down there, here is the Abarth as Lino Rossi left it when he fled from eritrea in 1975, still on bricks. Wonder if it's still there...

    Wink Belgian Collector

Sounds like the Belgian Collector and owner of the 911R stroke again! Wonderful to reunite the two cars together.

A wonderfull story but also a wonderful testimony of how strong our passion for the brand can be. Great to see collectors so keen even in a difficult market.

The Porsche passion is alive and well!
