Classic Adelaide 2009 - Porsche crash fatalities

Some very sad news from Australia.

    http://aussieexotics.com/2009/11/19/...ouble-fatality

The crash happened on the first day on a special closed stage.

Both driver and navigator were very experienced tarmac rally competitors.

Members of the Australia TYP901 Register are all still in shock. Some of our members competing in the event have withdrawn as a mark of respect to their lost mates.

    RIP Gary and David.

My condolences to both families and to the other competitors. That is really tough.

    Loss

It is always very sad to loose friends and fellow enthusiasts.
I don't know either one, but i share their passion for rallies and cars.
So let's celebrate their life on the fast lane, their joy for our make and keep their memories alive.
with a salute to their life regards Stefan

    Very well said Stefan.

I was also there competing and it was very hard to strap in and head out on Friday morning. A very challenging event in many ways.
