Hey Jim I can take the ferry over to Bridgeport (from Long Island) and catch up with you guys headed south on the way to collect Mark et. al.
Thoughts?

From Eric / Steve
Nick,
I would love to see a larger participation by the early 911 guys in the concours. It is the best parking space for a $10.00 donation that goes to charity, plus being close to the Swap area. Also, groups can park together in an assigned area, however, the group must arrive together. If you care to take that route, contact Steve Baun sbturbo@aol.com to have space set aside.
See you April 24.
Eric
So 2 options the second means a little bit of co-ordination.

Life is way too short to drive boring cars.
what's the gameplan, when are folks headed out? plans for a caravan?
there is a small chance I would want a ride out there, anyone passing over the tappan zee bridge or george washington I could meet you nearby...but I see this as unlikely, chances are I'll be driving the 'S'...would enjoy a caravan
staying at the hilton garden inn very close to the econo lodge....leaving saturday afternoon some time.

Hi Mike, sorry I didn't see this before. I'm not sure yet what time we will be passing through that area (I imagine it will be 8 - 8:30 am) and we'll be stopping at the Fairield, CT service station on the Merritt Parkway to meet Jim Lonsdale (Karl take note ). It might be easier, and wouldn't involve a very early morning ferry ride, to meet us along 287 or 78. There is a good meeting spot at the first exit on 78 after it crosses 278. I'll let you know about times as we get closer to the 23rd. Lewis we could meet you, Mark and any of the other NY/NJ group there too, same spot as the RitV trip.

watch out for tappan zee rush hour traffic (although you are headed in the opposite direction, it's still ugly), if you'll be at Jim's around 8...better off more like 8:30, NJ meeting location around 10 if all goes well.
I'll have a better idea of my plans tomorrow, and final details next week.
stay tuned.
