Thanks David !! Should the cover be plastic or metal ?? George
Hey Guys !! Sorry for not updating this thread recently. I have had some distractions recently and Mr Laws has been working on a nice Austin Healey 100M. But, now back on track !! Mr Laws installed the headliner this week !! Looks Great !! Finally some fabric on the car. Thanks for being so patient for an update.
Looks like I will need to buy a new front windshield as the original has clouding from the plastic inner liner. Seems to be a common problem. Thanks !! George Kehler
Good to see your progress, George . . .

Hey George, been watching your project...it's fantastic and the details are wonderful.
Been many years since the East Coast 356 and the fog lights that went on your Speedster.
Pam and I send our best and looking forward to finished 911.
I am knee deep in a 73.5T sunroof and also 71T sunroof.
All 356's gone but not forgotten.
911's have my focus now .
Will send PM

Hi Guys !! Sorry for the long stretches of inactivity but this summer in Tennessee is horridly hot and Mr Laws has been finishing up some other projects. I decided to order the period Michelin XWX tires from Coker as my COA says Michelin Tires !! I then asked the expert, Mr Wiedman, (who restored my deep 6 rims several years ago), what the process is to mount the tires to the rims (and not scratch them). He suggested an expert to do this so I drove 3 hours from my house to Coker in Chattanooga. Nice that they are so close. With his instructions and their expertise in mounting tires, they did a fabulous job. Here they are opening the Wiedman boxes revealing these coveted wheels !!
Here are more photos of the Coker guys mounting the tires. I missed pictures of the wheel upside down on the machine with the tires then mounted over the backside. Mr Wiedman said this is the proper way to install. Coker did a fabulous job and I recommend using them !! Plus, you get a great free tour of the company and fab motorcycle/car collection.
Looking good, George. How high did you jump when they let that bead seater go?
Keep up the good work.
Brad
