Thanks so much, URO. I am now on the search for a longer tow hook, #911-501-530-01, that was probably on this car as it has factory air conditioning. Mr Mayo found, in the 1971 parts book accessory section, this longer hook that protrudes further out, ahead of the bar that protects the finned front air con condenser. The normal one will not fit as per this photo. Please check if you might have one.

Visited the car today. He is Mr Laws enjoying his handiwork. We scavenged 3 sets of air con vents to make this set.
