Are you sure you have the right word?
‘Fünfgang getriebe’ (fuenf g-g) would be German for 5-speed gearbox?

I am no expert on 912's to say the least.
However i jut looked at the 912 technical data website and it shows the 5190000 series was a 5 speed 901/05 with a 7:31 R&P OR a 5 speed 902.300/16 gearbox with a 6:29 R&P and it appears that the 6:29 was for 1969. So It MAY be that

Thanks Patrick, you are probably right that it is just a 5 speed gearbox. I just never saw that listed as an option lower on a Kardex.

But as i posted there were two different 5 speed boxes for 912's with the same number configuration That may be a reason to list whether it was a 7:31 or a 6:29 R&P on a Kardex and both, I assume would have different option numbers

Hi Hugh, that might indeed be the reason Porsche used that part of the Kardex to put that as a gearbox option.

Each model would have a standard equipment transmission. Any change from that would mean that an optional transmission would be ordered, and thus listed as an option. For a 912 or a 911T it was common for the 4 speed to be the default transmission, thus a five speed would be an optional upgrade.

Hello, does the car still hold its original 9922 if its 9922?
Only early 69 cars seems to have it?

Any pictures of interior and the paint plate?

    Thanks
