What is up with everyone questioning the by-laws and their perceived freedoms?. All I did was ask who Kerry Morse was period.

This should not have become a beat down to Kerry, (whom I do not know) or an exploration of ones first amendment rights. If you have something positive to contribute, do that. If not, complain in private. Slandering people across the board because a few have something nasty to say serves the interests of the few.

It is clear that "they" are trying to keep this board upbeat. Turning it into a liberal forum where "anything goes" would be pathetic and a huge turn off. This is not the Pelican forum. There are forums that allow that and you should post the negativity there.

Be nice, keep in clean and vent the bad air in private.

    Happy Holiday!

I respectfully dissagree with your holier than thou stance.
Although I enjoy this site, I think that it is over sensored by the moderator(s).
Many posts/threads are closed, deleted or in fact just dissappear without an explanation. Sort of a like a communist society, although this is a gross exageration. I have been a member of many boards over the years and this one I feel is over the top with sensorship. I have been a member of FChat, Boss302, Shelby and several others and this board far and away leads the pack in sensorship.
With that said, I respect the wishes of the moderator(s) here, but at times I get frustrated. I enjoy the people here as well as the vast wealth of knowledge that is here. I have noticed the complaints of others about losing valuable contributors here. Is this sensor issue one of the reasons?

Okay, I will get off of my soap box...and proceed as the good soldier that I was trained to be...

Non-PC content: Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Kwanza or whatever you celebrate. If you are an atheist; have a nice life.

I don't sit in judgement but believe that the truth is what it is. Things getting buried "in the interest of keeping things upbeat" are the reason you didn't know who Kerry Morse is. Frank's post was deleted and that was to be the end of it. That should not have happened.
I for one like to know who is to be trusted and will not hold back one bit when it comes to "telling it like it is". You may not make a lot of friends but those are not the kind of friends I want.

That's pretty funny, actually that's Paul Ritchie who took over Porsche Motorsports North America from Uwe Brettel a few years ago. Paul is an Englishman that works in Cali for the Germans, you think you're confused...

Many people know who Steve McQueen was. Steve McQueen knew who Kerry Morse is. That connection wasn't made by throwing enough money to buy a farm at discarded movie props thirty years after the fact.

Anybody who is serious about the car hobby has had a misadventure with a car, a part, a shop job, even when dealing with friends. I have. These are old cars with murky histories. Few of us file - and then drop - lawsuits over these misunderstandings and disappointments. Dave Morse is no relation to Kerry Morse and he's also dead, so we'll never know the whole story. I've known Kerry for years and have always found him to be on the up-and-up, and have been told the same by many "name" players.

The same can be said of Chuck Miller, whose rules for this Board are clearly stated at the bottom of the page. This isn't AutoTrader.com...

The Board should reflect those who are using it; not those who moderate it. It is called group consensus. The members come for interaction and discussion concerning their passion. There should be an expected code of conduct but there also should be a tolerance.

This seems to be a re-occurring theme which is beginning to bubble to the surface. Everyone here knows the danger of a bubbling surface.
