This thread has gone on for five pages so I thought it time to chime in.

I do know Kerry Morse. I met him through a mutual friend (the late Len Frank) back in the early 90's, around the time Buttonwillow was coming on line as a track. Kerry has a biting wit and a sharp sense of humor (OK some would say smart ass). In the final analysis I have never found him to be anything but a gentleman. I've had no business dealings with Kerry but when it comes to knowledge of the brand he does know what he's talking about.

Carry on Chuck... You're doing a job few here would volunteer for so I salute you for your diligence in trying to keep this board civil.

    Happy holidays to all...

Take a look at the following LINK. It's very easy to start a forum. That's what I would do if I were part of a mass exodus.

    Cheers,

P.S. I actually know a little about this. I once moderated the I-Sales Discussion List. Posts were compiled into a daily digest by yours truly which was sent to 20,000 subscribers. That subsequently grew into a company called Adventive. With over 150,000 subscribers it was the largest publisher of email discussion lists. Sold to another internet publisher. Anyway, I'm serious - start your own list.

Hunh. When this all started I wondered to myself "Is Kerry Morse related to the Morse code guy?" Anybody know?

I don't know how I stumbled onto this thread but it made me laugh at all the craziness.

I have one very clear memory of Kerry ... while riding in the back seat of a truck with him one rainy Saturday afternoon I overheard him talking to another heavy hitter in the Porsche game. They were talking about old race cars - 935s, 911STs, etc - and Kerry said, "You know what GT stands for? Garbage truck."

That one made me laugh pretty good.
