Porsche Wood Steering Wheel ID Help

Read a lot but can’t seem to find the definitive answer. I have a very nice unrestored wood steering wheel. Stamped 531. Any help? I heard that 531 is 1965 31st week. Don’t know if that’s true or not. Appreciate any help.

I`m still not convinced those numbers are "dates". I have a steel/wood wheel that has "B5" stamped and 180 degrees from that is "74". I also have an alum/wood wheel stamped "2509".

There has to be a reason and explanation. Mine is steel I guess. A magnet sticks to it anyway. Well the search continues! Thanks!
