In case no one has heard about this group, it is a new racing group organized by Bobby Rahal. Their first race will be at Barber on May 21-23 (AL). Their entry fees seem somewhat competitive at $800 /weekend ($100 less if the entry is early).

They also go to Mont-Tremblant on July 9-11, 2010 and to Sebring on December 3-5, 2010.

I'd add the SVRA/HSR Vintage GT Challenge at Road America on May 14-16, 2010 (I'll be there).

The Gold Cup vintage race at VIR on June 3-6, 2010.

The SVRA Vintage Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio on June 24-27, 2010.

The famous Kohler International Challenge at Road America on July 15-18, 2010.

The HSR Atlanta Historic Races on September 17-19, 2010.

The SVRA season final at Road Atlanta on October 14-17, 2010.

The HSR Sebring Historic Fall Classic on October 21-24, 2010.

The HSR Daytona Continental Historic Races on November 11-14, 2010.

RE: The Spring Meet at Helen (aka, Kurven von Georgia 2010).

Some of you missed this event. We had a great time. I enjoyed meeting other Early911SRegistry members. I apologize for leading you straight into a speed trap. I think Chuck should chip in and help pay our fines.

We plan to do another one. If you want to be on the invitation list, please PM me. Here are a couple of pictures taken by Chris (whom I meet through this site).

I was amazed at how many people were making pictures of our group during the weekend.

    Climb to the clouds

OK, there was some discussion about this in the RITV thread. June 22-26 2011 (only 9 months away ). I've got this event tentatively on the calender, although I'd probably be towing the quattro rally car.

Who's interested and can we plan some driving tours or ???? around the area as well?

I wonder if Jeff Zwart will show up in the Pikes Peak 911? Probably depends on whether they run to Rally America /RallyCar rules or not.

Cool pics John. I like the looks of this event I can't imagine what they've got planned for 5 days! It looks like maybe RallyAmerica will run their cars 1 day and then all the bizzaro hillclimb classes run on the other days???
