    Bumper overrides

Posted earlier on the parts forum, but this is the better site. Does anyone know who made the origional bumper overrides, Porsche or AMCO?

On the 911 T registry site ,they have an options list from 1970 that includes the bumper overrides. (refered to As Bows) Search of forums turns up nothing. Any ideas?

There are aftermarket AMCO bars for front and back and I am pretty sure there were Porsche dealer installed bars as well. I have attached a photo of a front AMCO and a photo of a quite rare dealer installed rear over rider. I am sure John Audette can chime in as well regarding.

    Thanks Beaker,

That second picture is somthing, never seen anything like that before. Does AMCO still make them?

I am pretty sure AMCO is no longer around. I do have a mint set front and rear that I have been saving for the right car which I may be able to sell. PM for photos and price. Chrome is perfect and no dents whatsoever.

I already have a set, Iam just trying to figure out what I have. The car is currently out in Ca. undergoing a complete restoration. I am going out to drive it the 2nd week in Feb. before it ships back East.
