Rear seat area: SWB vs LWB

I'm interested in a rear seat delete option for a SWB car. What are the differences in the rear seating area between SWB and LWB? I think that the firewall is angled differently. Are the dimensions different? What else do I need to know if I want to modify a LWB rear seat delete to fit a SWB?

    Thanks,
    Alan

    Hi Alan

I had rust in my seat pans and wanted to replace the pans in the rear seat. After getting a Pan from a Donor car I discovered that the tunnel between seats on top of gearbox was much wider in on the panel from LWB car than in my SWB car. But I think this has todowith the type of gearbox fitted to the car. So in conclusion I think that the SWB cars running a 901 box have a much narrower tunnel than the newer 915 equiped cars. The difference was about 4cm (nearly an inch) each side.

Curious if this effects the rear seats, rear shelf, and carpet as well...
Or are they the same between the LWB and SWB cars?
