Thread: 74 Plaid Interior

Here is a photo of the NOS '73 plaids that were recently located in a mountaintop village in Tibet where they were being used as ceremonial decorations for the Holy Yak.

Thank you everyone. Great help! Will probably go with inserts (NOS original) and door panels of contemporary stock. Eric, I have a scrap or two of the NOS black watch. May pass on the rear panels.

    Steven,

Door panels were flat as you can see in the pictures.

    Jump seats were also tartan.

Reer shelf - I will have to think about that.

My Ice Green Metallic 1977 Carrera 3.0 had blackwatch trim... which at the time I owned it (mid-late 1990's) was original.

I just love the tartan trim on the mid 70's cars..

    Plaid Panels?

On the subject of what panels were covered, I don't know for certain but this set was posted for sale a few years ago and represented as original pieces. I kept the pics as potential reference for the OEM "full plaid" treatment. As you can see it was extensive, makes me wonder what the headliner looked like?!

    Best,

    Bob

Hmmm, that last set reminds me of the skirts the girls had to wear at the Jesuit high school I attended. Good memories! That's all I got, carry on.
